How I Drink It.

I love coffee shops and greasy-spoons
Where I can belly-up to the bar
To drink my brew

With classic rock or obscure beats
Rumbling through my brain
Keeping time with the ink I spew

Don't snap your fingers when I walk in
Don't ask me what I want
It's me you're pouring to

Just serve it hot and black in a ceramic mug
And put the next one in a paper cup
For me to breeze on out and bid adieu

Ah, coffee talk; I love it.

Hey man~ long time, no comment! I haven't (obviously) been to my blog in a while, but finally saw your comment and felt obliged to simultaneously thank you and apologize. Your feedback has always been valued.

Been working on my book too... ha-! It still seems like that thing 'out there' that won't ever get done. But it's a fun thing to hold on to, and it gives me hope, to think of finishing, and so I press on. I trust you're doing the same too?

So are you on facebook? If so, let me know, I'd love to 'friend' you.
Thanks again, Jon.
