Maple Flavored Haiku

Falling from the green
Ohio Maples bursting
Twirling to the ground.

The lush canopy
Bringing forth their joyous song
Notes wafting gently

For the ears and eye
The grand symphony of Spring
Renewal of life

__ Though I follow a minimal sound count, I truly appreciate your adherence to the 5/7/5 form of haiku and senryu. I leave this instant's humbly punctuated Cinquain that may echo your good haiku, and I thank you for your visits to my blog! _m

Life seeds,
maple pits fall
below this crown of leaves;
song birds calling for tomorrow,
today.
